Luxe Outdoor Minipeak XL PRO
Luxe Outdoor Minipeak XL PRO is a lightweight and durable floorless four-season tent from Luxe Outdoor. The tent can easily accommodate two people and a stove, or three people without a stove. The tent is excellent for use in all seasons, but is primarily designed to be a tent you carry with you during the colder part of the bare ground season, together with an ultralight stove.
The inner tent is equipped with full mesh walls, which provide good ventilation and some protection against draughts and snow drifts. In case of heavy snow, it is recommended to shovel snow onto the snow skirts of the tent to prevent snow from drifting in (just don't forget to ventilate if you use a stove). Half inner tent included in the price.
The tent can be pitched with only 4 tent pegs and a pole in a few minutes. However, pitching will be both neater and more stable if all 8 ground anchors for tent pegs are used.
Please note that the pole and floor are not included as standard (but can be purchased separately). However, half of the inner tent is included.
A full inner tent is available as an accessory.
Size and design
The tent is generously sized and can accommodate two or three taller people (over 190 centimeters). The two entrances are equipped with high-quality, covered zippers. At the top of one side of the tent is the passage for the chimney of your stove. At the same level you will also find the ventilation opening. If you do not intend to use a stove in the tent, it is of course possible to cover the chimney opening with the supplied piece of canvas that you attach to the tent.
The tent is equipped with 8 ground anchors for tent pegs and two anchors for storm ropes halfway up two of the sides, which means that the tent can withstand even strong winds without problems.
During the colder parts of the year, stoves are a great addition to this tent. It allows for comfort and warmth even in really harsh conditions.
Inner tents
The walls are made of 68D polyester ripstop PU with a water column of 1500mm. At the top is extremely fine HD Mesh insect netting that protects you from even the smallest of gnats.
The floor is made of PU-coated 68D polyester with a water column of 4000 mm.

Material
The tent is made of 68D Polyester Ripstop PU which is a very strong polyester fabric. The water column is 1500 mm which is more than enough to prevent even heavier rain from entering.
Seam sealing
The seams of Luxetents are not seam sealed at the factory. A seam sealer, which is specially made for the purpose, is included in the purchase. The easiest way to seam seal is to pitch the tent on a rain-free day (be sure to tension the tent tightly, so that the seams are properly tightened) and seam seal all seams from the outside of the tent using a small brush or your finger.

Quite easy to set up and easily accommodates you and your equipment.
The problem is that a center pole measuring 160 cm can be difficult to find, as was the case for me. Fortunately, there are plenty of sticks in the forest.
From super happy to super disappointed, Planned solo hike for 1 week had to be canceled after only 2 days when the fabric cracked a tear of about 1m next to the seam in one of the corners when I pitched the tent for the 3rd night. Fortunately, no rain on the way back.
Have had tents under half the price of Minipeak and they have never cracked when I pitched.
Either I got a defective copy or the quality of Minipeak is terrible.

Not tried it outside the garden yet but feels good and smooth to look up. Also fits well, is 196cm.
Spacious tent that is quick to set up. The tent pegs are light in weight but sharp and not the best. The tent can be used for day trips but also for longer trips.
