MRS Alligator 2S Pro
MRS Alligator 2S Pro is the flagship of MRS. The pack power is aimed at those who place the highest possible demands on their equipment. The main area of use is demanding whitewater paddling. The Alligator 2S Pro is best suited for guides, professional paddlers, expedition racers and adventurers.
The Alligator 2S Pro is characterized by an extra reinforced coating, making it the most robust pack in the MRS range. Also included is the new seating system with comfort backrest and seat, which allows for great comfort even under high pressure and longer paddling sections. The MRS Alligator 2S Pro comes standard with ISS, an advanced internal storage system where packing is stored inside the tubes in waterproof storage bags (read more about ISS further down). The packraft also comes with ergonomically designed, removable thigh straps with four attachment points each, helping to create superior control.
Design
The MRS Alligator 2S Pro is built on MRS 27-centimeter tubes, which provide a perfect balance between agility, comfort and stability. The relatively narrow and pointed design together with the slightly raised nose (upbow) makes the packraft a winner in the rapids. A relatively long waterline ensures high speed and good acceleration, making the Packraft a good candidate also for touring and expeditions.

The permanent canopy (not removable), with its accompanying robust aluminum frame and skirt, keeps the paddler dry and secure in the cockpit during advanced paddling sessions or during long downpours. When paddling without a skirt on warmer days, for example, the canopy still provides good protection against paddle splashes, but still offers good ventilation.
Fena
All MRS Packrafts come with a removable fin to increase course stability and maximum speed when paddling.
Size
The MRS Alligator 2S Pro is available in two sizes - regular and oversize. Regular is best suited for lighter people under 185 cm in height. Oversize is best suited for larger and taller people.

ISS (Internal Storage System)
The MRS Alligator 2S Pro comes with a pre-installed internal storage system, known as ISS. This means that with the help of a waterproof TiZip zipper, the tubes on the packer can be used as internal storage space. It is now possible to transport large amounts of equipment inside the packer without taking up any available seating space.
MRS uses TiZip's best chain in its packrafts, Masterseal 10, which withstands pressure tests up to 500 mbar.
Transporting packing inside the pack truck has many advantages:
- Everything carried inside the ISS is guaranteed to stay dry. Two (huge) waterproof packing bags with roll closure are also included with the purchase. The bags have a size of 130x30cm.
- Packing the tubes through the ISS lowers the center of gravity, resulting in a more stable ride.
- A huge increase in packable surface compared to the same model without ISS.
The disadvantage of the ISS is that it is not possible to access the packing inside the packraft without letting the air out. Therefore, the ISS is particularly suitable for transporting camp equipment such as tents, sleeping bags, most of the food for the trip, etc.
Material
The packraft has sewn and welded joints.
All MRS models are made of polyurethane-coated nylon fabric, a material that is UV-tolerant, abrasion-resistant, resistant to aging and flexible even at low temperatures. MRS Alligator 2S Pro has a floor with woven Aramid fibers which creates an extremely high wear/tear resistance.
- Tubes: 210-denier nylon (UPN35) with single-coated TPU and black pigment surface finish, further enhancing the surface's resistance to wear.
- Floor: 840 denier, high abrasion/tear resistant Aramid fiber, single coated TPU and additional surface finish.
- Hood: 70-denier ripstop nylon with single-sided urethane cover.
- Seat and backrest: 210-denier nylon with single-sided urethane cover.
MRS is fully involved in the development process of the materials it uses, and has its own product development. The TPU material that MRS exclusively uses is developed in close cooperation with a large American company in order to offer customers the highest possible quality.
