The folding SILKY Gomboy Professional is a practical and lightweight handsaw with a stable and easy-to-grip straight handle. SILKY Gomboy is a real multi-purpose saw and is popular for both outdoor and garden work.

The saw is compact and can easily be carried in your backpack. Silky Gomboy can easily handle everything from fresh wood to dried pine branches, frozen birch twigs and even wet wood.  

The locking mechanism allows you to securely lock the blade in two different positions and choose the angle and working position you prefer. When not in use, the SILKY Gomboy folds easily and the sharp teeth are safely covered by the rubber handle. 

How to use Silky saws correctly

• Silky saws are designed to cut on the pull. The thin blade does not bend as it works under tension when pulling. If your saw ever gets stuck, don't push forward hard and never twist the handle, this can damage the blade. Make sure to take the weight off the blade to free it.
• Silky's precision manufacturing makes it very easy to saw. Don't use arm strength to speed up sawing. Let the saw do the work.
• Impulse hardening blades cannot be filed. New blades can be ordered separately (contact us).
• Take care of your Silky saw and keep the blade clean for better cutting results. Wash your blade regularly in soapy water to keep it sharp for longer.

Pull saw technology

1. Hold the branch firmly
2. Start sawing by lightly dragging the blade over the branch in your direction.
3. Gently push the blade forward. No sawing occurs in the forward movement.
4. Repeat until the branch is cut.
5. Use light strokes and push forward slightly - let the saw do the work!
