For many packrafters, a fishing rod is an essential part of their gear. With a packraft, you can reach small ponds, remote lakes, and other spots where fishing pressure is often much lower. But handling a fishing rod while paddling isn’t always easy.

The Anfibio Rody Fishing Rod Holder is designed to give you a convenient place to store your rod when you're out on the water. The rod holder is glued to the pack raft and holds the rod securely in place, whether you want to troll slowly between fishing spots or just keep your hands free while paddling.

The design is simple and well thought out. The holder consists of a tube into which the rod is inserted, as well as two brackets that are glued to the boat. Using the included straps, the holder can be quickly attached and removed as needed.

For best performance, we recommend mounting the rod holder behind the paddler on one side of the pack raft. When placing the rod in the holder, the tip of the rod should point backward in the direction of travel. This allows you to paddle unimpeded while the line remains in the water.

Things to consider

The brackets need to be glued to the packraft. Glue is not included but is sold separately (Helaplast).
