Anfibio Sigma TXLB+
The Anfibio Sigma TXLB+ is an advanced hybrid packraft for 1 to 2 people with a primary focus on comfortably carrying 1 person. Particularly suitable for white water paddling and expeditions.
Accessories such as optional leg straps, inflatable floor and self-draining function make the Anfibio Sigma TXLB+ highly versatile and configurable, making it ideal for expedition-style use. The pack is made from Anfibio's own reinforced Plus(+) material which is highly durable. Despite its focus on more advanced paddling such as whitewater and expeditions, the Sigma TXLB+ can also be used in calm waters and on quiet rivers. This makes it a very versatile packraft that suits most people.
When used as a one-man packraft with a central seating position, the Sigma TXLB+ is perfect for long trips with a lot of luggage. The TXLB+ can also be configured with a rear (and front) seating position, which also makes it possible to take a dog, children or larger bags or even bicycles along for the ride.
VenturiTube
The Anfibio Sigma TXLB+ is equipped with a sealable self-tie ("B" for Bailing), the so-called VenturiTube. The VenteriTube in combination with an inflatable floor makes it possible to use the packraft both in raging water with the self-tailing and in calm water with the veritube closed for "drier" paddling. When using the VenteriTube, excess water flows out of the packraft through the self-liner at the bottom of the packraft. The VentiriTube should only be used in conjunction with Anfibio's Multimat 190 inflatable floor, which is available as an optional accessory.
Due to the fact that the packraft is equipped with a self-bailing system, it does not need a canopy. However, we always recommend the use of a dry suit when using the self-bailing system, as it will always be quite moist under the inflatable floor, moisture that sooner or later finds its way up to the paddler.
The self-bailing system has many advantages, including simplified entry and exit, for example when wading or reconnoitering. It also significantly improves the comfort of the packraft by stiffening the floor or the whole hull, insulating against cold and raising the seating position. The maximum load capacity should not exceed 150 kg when the VenturiTube is open. If the VenturiTube is closed, the packing force can carry over 210 kg.
Configurations
Anfibio Sigma TXLB+ can be configured in several different ways depending on the application.
- Centralized one-man operation. One-man use with forward seating position (centered) and thigh straps for optimal balance and good boat control. Uses Anfibio's "Packseat light" seat together with their "Comfort Backband" backrest.
- One-man rear seat. One-man use with a seating position at the back of the pack and the possibility of using leg straps, particularly effective for trips with a lot of luggage or a bicycle. Uses Anfibio's combined seat and backrest "Anfibio Packseat with backrest".
- Two-person use. Configurable with two seats and backrest for paddling with two people. Uses "Packseat light" together with their backrest "Comfort Backband" and Anfibio's combined seat and backrest "Anfibio Packseat with backrest".
As a single-person boat, the TXLB+ is paddled with a standard two-blade kayak paddle. For two people, it can also be paddled canoe-style (e.g. with a multi-paddle), where each person has a single-bladed canoe paddle.
Tubebags
The Anfibio Sigma TXLB+ is available with or without so-called tubebags - two centrally located "packing zippers" with directly connected airtight inner pockets (100 liters each). The purpose of the tubebags is to store equipment inside the tubes.
The inner pockets form separate air chambers, which significantly increases the security of the packing force.
In use, the packing is inside the boat, providing a low center of gravity, protection from moisture and reducing the sensitivity of the packing to wind. The transportation capacity is significantly increased, making the boat suitable for multi-day camping trips.
To use the TubeBags: Place the pack in the TubeBags and close the zippers almost completely. Inflate the main air chamber - the pressure squeezes the excess air out of the TubeBags. Close the zippers completely. To remove anything from the TubeBags, always open the main valve first. Then open the zippers and take out the packing.
NOTE: To facilitate opening and closing, the zippers must be lubricated with the supplied silicone grease the first time and at regular intervals. Lubricate only the outside of the zipper (laminated with polyurethane), open and close several times and wipe off any residue with a cloth. Do not lubricate the teeth themselves, otherwise dirt may stick.
Anfibios plus (+) materials and manufacturing process
Like all Anfibio Packrafts, Sigma TXLB+ is made of a special TPU nylon fabric with high scratch and abrasion resistance combined with low weight. The smooth and shiny surface of the tube coating is particularly scratch resistant. Sigma TXLB+ is made from Anfibios Plus material which is +17% heavier than their standard TPU nylon, but thanks to higher weave reinforcement, stronger fibers and increased thickness it is a full +80% stronger.
All seams on the boat are welded, and the tube seams are also stitched. No adhesives are used - this saves weight, costs and eliminates harmful fumes.

Anfibio offers an extended 3-year warranty on materials and craftsmanship.
