Anfibio Wave

The Anfibio Wave is a very lightweight 4-piece touring paddle, which works best when paddling over longer distances. The shaft is made of high-quality carbon fiber and the whole paddle has a beautiful and elegant look. The paddle can be freely adjusted in lengths between 210 and 220 cm and the angle of the paddle blades is also completely freely adjustable.

The paddle comes with drip rings, which stop water from running and dripping down the shaft of the paddle.

The blades of the Anfibio Wave, unlike the shaft, are made of durable nylon and have a relatively small surface area, specifically designed for quiet paddling over longer distances.

The paddle weighs only 920 grams and of the 4 parts of the paddle, no part is longer than 64 cm, to be easily packed into, for example, a backpack. The blade size is 44 * 16,5cm.

The length adjustment is locked in place with a small plastic lever that’s secured by just a tiny screw. The screw tends to come loose on its own after a while, which has already happened once. Luckily, it landed on my lap and I was able to screw it back in with the tip of a knife, but it feels like it’s only a matter of time before you lose it in the water or the grass—and then you’re stuck in the middle of nowhere with a two-piece paddle that can’t be put back together.

A light and good paddle to take with you on the boat trip but also easy to pack in the car.

Have not tried any other so I have nothing to compare with but it weighs little, easy to assemble and adjust and works well and does what it should. I do not know what you get more if you buy one for several thousand kronor? But thought this made sense for my first packraft and so far I am happy! :)
