Ultralight single-wall tent for two people from Ukrainian Liteway.

Design and construction

Like its sibling, the Illusion Solo, Liteway's Illusion Duo is a single-wall tent. The tent is pitched using two trekking poles and keeps out even the smallest insects thanks to its integrated mosquito net.

The tent has two doors equipped with waterproof YKK zippers. Inside the doors are two very spacious vestibules, each 60 cm long. In other words, a palace for one person or plenty of space for two.

The Illusion Duo can be pitched with 6 tent pegs, but can also be reinforced in strong winds with an additional 2 tent pegs for storm lines.

The tent is not seam sealed from the factory and therefore needs to be taken care of on your own. Seam sealing is most easily done by pitching the tent on a rain-free day (be sure to tension the tent tightly so that the seams are properly tensioned) and seam sealing all seams from the outside of the tent using a small brush or your finger. Seam Sealer is not included in the purchase but can be purchased from, we recommend Seam Grip+SIL.

Liteway Illusion Solo is made of SilPoly material.

Pitching

• Stretch out the tent on the ground and put tent pegs in the ground attachment points.
• Insert two trekking poles set to 130 cm into the pockets at the top of the tent adapted for trekking poles. In the lower part of the tent there are channels where the tips of the trekking pole are inserted. Note that the tip of the trekking pole should be covered to avoid damaging the tent.
• Stake out the tent lines that attach to the top of the tent.
• Stretch out all the tent's lines for a tight pitch.
• To increase the tent's interior space and to further reinforce wind resistance, stake out the storm lines.
