Seek Outside Divide 2.0
Divide 2.0 is a very lightweight 79-liter backpack with an external frame, made of Ultra 200X™ material. In addition to being extremely light and durable, the material is also waterproof.
Seek Outside is known for making lightweight hiking backpacks that can handle heavy or extremely heavy loads, thanks to its advanced carrying system and external frame. The carrying system can handle weights of well over 50 kilograms when needed. The bags from Seek Outside are therefore not only very well suited for hiking, but also packrafting, hunting, photography and other activities where you often have to lug around extremely much stuff, but are equally suitable for light hiking with less packing thanks to the compression system.
The advantage of a backpack made of waterproof material is that the material itself does not absorb water, which means that the backpack does not increase in weight in wet conditions. Note that despite its waterproof material, the backpack is not 100% waterproof, as water can penetrate through the backpack's seams. Therefore, we always recommend packing in waterproof bags even in these backpacks.
Please note that accessories such as hip belts and pockets are sold separately.
"All of our gear uses the best fabrics and materials we can source, is made in-house by experts at their craft, and is backed by our outstanding warranty" - Seek Outside, Handmade in Grand Junction, Colorado, USA.
Design
The bag is mounted on the external frame, together with the advanced carrying system. The carrying system is adjustable and can be used by anyone with a torso length over 38 cm. The bag, frame and carrying system can be disassembled and replaced or transported separately.
The frame is delivered 24″ long, but can be adjusted with a frame extender (sold separately) to 26″ (2″ extender) or 28″ (4″ extender). The standard 24″ length works for pretty much everyone, but if you need to carry extra weight or if you have a long torso, the use of extenders may be recommended (see table below for information if you need to add extenders to your order).
For more information on how to measure your torso length, see Seek Outside's article “Which Frame Height is Right for me?“.
Example: If you have a torso length of 45 cm and plan to carry 15 kilos in the backpack, you should extend the frame with a 2″ extender so you get a 26” frame.
| Torso length | Carrying weight up to 13 kg | Carrying weight 13-23 kg | Carrying weight over 23 kg |
| 15″-16″ (38-41 cm) | 24″ | 24″ | 24″ or 26″ (buy 2″ extender) |
| 17″-19″ (42-48 cm) | 24″ or 26″ (buy 2″ extender) | 26″ (buy 2″ extender) | 26″ or 28″ (buy 2″ and/or 4″ extender) |
| 20″+ (49 cm+) | 26″ (buy 2″ extender) | 26″ or 28″ (buy 2″ and/or 4″ extender) | 28″ (buy 4″ extender) |
The Seek Outside Divide 2.0 offers large main storage of 79 liters. In addition, there are two spacious side pockets in stretch mesh (with space for 2 nalgene bottles each), top lid (8 liters) and a rear mesh pocket in stretch mesh that holds about 10-15 liters.
Divide has a total of 9 compression straps, all of which are removable and detachable. The compression straps can also be connected together to create a longer compression strap.
The stretchy front panel is equipped with daisy chains for easy mounting of accessories via, for example, carbines.
The external patented frame is very robust and made of 6061 T6 Aluminum.
A removable "horizon cross stay" is included in the purchase. It is mounted in the back and has the function of holding the packing away from the back for significantly improved ventilation and comfort. The gram hunters leave it at home!

In heavy rain, water can enter in small amounts through the seams of the bag, so despite the waterproofness of the material, we recommend users to pack their gear in waterproof bags inside the backpack.

Fantastic sack.
I use it for everyday use, hunting and for week-long trips with packraft. I appreciate the incredibly comfortable carrying system. It fits like a glove and despite 30 kg at its heaviest, it is not uncomfortable.
Perfect also with the material that does not absorb water, nice both on the hunt and in the boat, so.
I haven't sealed the seams but don't notice any wet intake at all.
I have supplemented with heels and tops which felt like natural additions that also fit my needs perfectly.
This is top quality all the way.
Add to that fast deliveries and attentive customer service.
Thanks for selling good stuff.
A fantastic backpack!
I have used it for both one-day hikes and longer hikes, regardless of whether it contains 10kg or 25kg, it is extremely comfortable.
I was skeptical about abandoning my old Lundhags as I found it so comfortable, but this one is clearly better! I used to appreciate all the extra pockets and compartments on the Lundhags, but don't feel like I miss them.
I have never experienced leakage through the fabric, but always pack waterproof for safety.
The price is high, but well worth it.
Have now used my divede on an 8 day sare trip and for shorter day trips at home. Yes came from like many other reviewers a kayak 75 liters. My first impression was that it was extremely light but also much smaller than the kayak. I test packed with equipment for a 10 day mountain hike with both fishing and camera stuff 4 season tents and winter sack. No problem! The bag feels very if not extremely stable! Unlike the kayak, it does not slide down, probably thanks to the "floating" hip belt. And it doesn't sway or bob up at the shoulders like the kayak did. Sits like molded all over the back. I loaded about 16kg for my saree trip and it was no problem to jog with the bag. The outer net feels very durable and perfect for storing outer tents or other things that get wet. The bag is tight but those who can be good to think about with tight bags are that if you pack wet things, the water settles at the bottom, where you may have your sleeping bag;) but you learn. Everything feels well built and solid but you should expect that with that price tag. What I do not really like is the zipper on the hip pocket, it could have been laminated! And the condura fabric that holds the frame at the bottom of the bag, that part is extra exposed when you put the bag down on rocks, etc. Yes solved it by having the sleeping pad under the bag. If you are worried that it will not sit well, you can be calm, you can adjust basically everything! I am extremely satisfied and I think it will last a long time to come! I also want to mention the customer service here at packraft Sverige, incredibly nice and helpful! They give it 10 out of 10 stars!
As I had Fjällräven Kajka 65L as my favorite cover, Seek Outside took the 1st place. Perfect for the packraft trip or canoe for its density. But on the back it is fantastic. Light in itself and all the smart straps with the snaps allow you to loosen the reindeer and attach something. Easy to attach the packraft to the y strap on top. Large mesh pocket swallows both rain jacket and candy bag. I am super happy with the decision to buy one. So do not hesitate! ?
As a hiker / paddler, this bag is absolutely perfect with straps and attachments for both packraft and other equipment. 1.3 kilos of real backpack is top of the line as no other brand offers such comfort and durability. I have used both Bergans, Osprey and Fjällräven but Seek Outside Divide beats everything. Thank you Martin and Packraft Sverige for selling these bags in our country.
