Liteway PyraOmm Max Tarp is a pyramid or "mid" style tent made of Silpoly for 2-4 people.

Design and construction

The tent is equipped with two doors with YKK AquaGuard zippers. The tent has room for 2-4 people. PyraOmm Max is pitched using either two trekking poles joined at the same time (advantageously connected with either Seek Outsides Trekking Pole Hitch or Voile Straps) or one pole. The Luxes TP-197x is perfectly suited for this purpose. Two ventilation openings high up on the tent ensure that adequate ventilation can be achieved. If ventilation needs to be improved, the tent can also be pitched high so that ventilation can take place in the space between the ground and the tent. The tent is floorless and it is therefore recommended to use ground protection of various kinds to protect the sleeping pad and equipment from the ground. The tent is square with a floor area of 7.5^m2 (276 x 276 cm). In other words, it is very spacious and suitable for both short and tall (190 cm+) people.

The tent is not seam-sealed at the factory, so you need to do this yourself. Seam sealing is best done by pitching the tent on a rain-free day (be sure to tension the tent tightly, so that the seams are properly tightened) and sealing all seams from the outside of the tent using a small brush or your finger. Seam Sealer is not included in the purchase but can be purchased from, we recommend Seam Grip+SIL.

Pitching

Pitching is simple and takes place in four steps:

1. Stretch out the corners of the tent to form a square and put tent pegs in each corner. Make sure the doors are closed when doing this.
2. Open a door and put a pole or combined trekking poles with a height of 175-185 cm vertically in the center of the tent.
3. Insert tent pegs in the tent's other ground attachment points (8 in total) and stretch the tent with the ropes attached to loops with linelocs at the bottom of the tent.
4. Tension any storm lines.

Miscellaneous

Never put the sharp/pointed end of your trekking poles upwards so that it comes into contact with the tent. This can damage and in the worst case destroy the tent.
