Seek Outside Tent Stove Titanium
Seek Outside tent stove titanium is an ultralight tent stove made of titanium. The stove is niched towards the weight-conscious hiker who still seeks comfort and warmth in the tent during cold fall, winter and spring evenings.
Please note that the chimney is sold separately. Size Medium uses 2.5″ rings, Large and SXL use 3.125″ rings.
The stove is easy to assemble and the six sides fold flat when disassembled in the supplied cloth bag. The chimney, which is sold separately, is also made of titanium and fits into the same tote bag by simply rolling it up lengthwise to create a small and flexible cylinder (see video below).
Titanium as a material is well suited for lightweight stoves. High heat resistance combined with a good ability to conduct heat makes it the best material today for lightweight stoves.
We offer the Seek Outsides tent stove in several different sizes. In general, the larger the stove, the better it is able to heat larger spaces and retain heat for longer.
Of course, the stoves can also be used in other manufacturers' tent models, as long as there is a chimney opening and as long as it has been checked that the chimney length is compatible with the tent you intend to use the stove with. You can use the stove in a Tentipi tent by using the Winnerwell tent protector.
The stove can be used in all types of tents that have a dedicated chimney opening, such as Seek Outside's Cimarron and Redcliff tent models and Luxe Outdoor's Minipeak XL and F8e tents.
Good to know
When using a stove in a tent, it is important to understand the safety risks associated with stoves in tents. Make sure there are no flammable items near or under the stove and also make sure there is a way for fresh air to enter your tent when the stove is burning. Your tent must have a hole specially adapted for a hot chimney. All our Seek Outside tents have such an opening, but there are many other tents that have their own chimney openings.
The first time you use your new Seek Outside titanium stove, it needs to be 'burned in'. This gives the chimney its final shape and makes it much easier to unfold and roll up. The first time you roll up the chimney, it takes a little patience before it is rolled up. Watch a video on how to fold your titanium chimney for the first time.
Make sure to clean (soot clean) the damper, spark guard and chimney after each use so that the parts do not soot up again.
Medium and Large sizes use 2.5″ rings, SXL uses 3.125″ rings
In very strong winds, we recommend NOT using this type of lightweight stove, as there is a risk that the chimney could collapse, causing damage to the tent or, in the worst case, fire.
You should be aware that sparks on the canvas are unavoidable. The amount of sparks can be greatly reduced by burning dry wood and preferably not spruce. If you get spark holes on the canvas, this can easily be repaired with a small click of seam sealer. We recommend Gear Aid Seam Grip WP for polyester tents and Gear Aid SIL for nylon tents.

What can you expect from a titanium stove?
Stoves provide greater comfort, the ability to dry equipment and the possibility to warm up even in very cold climates. They allow you to go to bed dry and warm and to warm up quickly in the morning. You can also cook and heat water on a stove, which in some cases can replace the outdoor kitchen.
However, an ultralight stove is NOT a substitute for a sleeping bag and sleeping pad suitable for the temperature. The stove burns hot and fast, but to keep the temperature up, you need to feed it with fuel regularly. So at 0 degrees Celsius outside, you still need to bring 0 degrees Celsius sleeping gear with you, unless you want to repeatedly get up in the night and refuel the stove.

6 reviews of Seek Outside Tent Stove Titan
Light and flexible stove that works beyond expectations. Easy to assemble even if the bolts can be a bit difficult in severe cold. The hatch and valves work beyond expectations and the combustion in the stove is really good. The plates have gotten a little new shape after a period of use nothing that interferes with function or assembly etc. But maybe can be with time.
