Vikingraft Stinger is a super light 4-piece paddle (only 840 grams) with carbon fiber shaft and delicious fiberglass blades. The perfect paddle for those who require a carbon fiber paddle with low weight and really high quality at the best possible price. Works just as well for the kayaker as the pack rafter.
The paddle is divisible into four parts to be easily transported in your backpack, bag, bike or car. It is also adjustable in length between 210 and 220 cm and the angle of the blades can be adjusted freely. Of course, you can also set the blades completely straight, if you prefer.
The fiberglass blades are available in three different colors and are designed with a relatively long and narrow profile. According to us at Packraft Sverige Sweden, this type of paddle blade has great advantages over heavier fiberglass paddles with large or extremely large blades (usually intended for fording). On the one hand, you get the weight down significantly compared to blades with a larger surface area, but you also get more power and energy left in the body after long paddles. Excellent paddle, clearly reduce stress when paddling, very light and despite that stable, however, had to grind something on the tube itself so the blades clicked in fully, otherwise very good😁
First thought that you could split this so that you get two equally long paddles but you do not get that but really only one working paddle. I have therefore ordered another one so that both people in the boat can have a double paddle or alternatively use one paddle. It definitely does not feel too long and it has an impressively low weight and is stylish. Good possibilities to push it together if you want a shorter paddle - just a button that you loosen easily and then tighten - takes a few seconds only. It is a bit expensive but if you want light weight and ok grip then I recommend it.
Very light and stylish paddle. The light weight really makes a big difference to the experience as you do not have to struggle with a heavy paddle. Easy to get around with without effort.
