Vikingraft Hellion
Vikingraft Hellion is the same type of packraft as Phantom, but equipped with an advanced canopy that protects against rain and debris. Like the Phantom, the Hellion has parallel tubes made of an extremely durable material that allows you to use the packraft for many long years in both cold and warm temperatures.
Area of use
Packrafting - the phenomenon that takes outdoor life to new levels! Equipped with a packraft and a paddle in your backpack, you can go to places and waters in nature where no one has set foot before. A packraft rolls up into a small package (much like a two-man tent) and can easily be put in your backpack.
Packrafts equipped with a canopy, such as the Vikingraft Hellion, are mainly suited to people who want the luxury of being able to sit completely dry and warm during longer paddles. The canopy protects against rain, splashes from the paddle and waves that can wash over the rail.
Hellion is best suited for outdoor enthusiasts who have planned a longer trip in the countryside. Maybe you plan to hike a bit in nature and paddle home for a few days? Therefore, we recommend Hellion primarily to people interested in hiking and paddling who intend to spend a longer time in nature and where it is of great importance to stay dry.
Like all Vikingraft packrafts, Hellion is an extremely durable packraft that can withstand long periods of heavy wear.
The packraft can be used in lighter rapids, but as always in whitewater paddling, it is important to never paddle alone and to always wear adequate safety equipment(life jacket, dry suit and helmet).

The canopy on the Vikingraft Hellion is of the "Cruiser" type, which means that you open and close the canopy using a longitudinal Velcro strap that runs along one side of the packraft. The canopy is fully removable and can be left at home if necessary or packed in the backpack when not needed. In an emergency, the canopy can be quickly removed by pulling a safety handle near the cockpit.
Design
Vikingraft Hellion is available in two different sizes.
The long version with an inner length of 160 cm is perfect for an adult with a child or a dog. It is also excellent for transporting a lot of cargo, which you can then store in front of your feet and on top of the tubes.
The slightly shorter version with inner length 145 cm is suitable for tall (180 cm+) and heavy paddlers, or outdoors people who want to carry a little extra equipment or maybe a smaller dog. Shorter people can of course also paddle this size, but if you want to save weight, there are smaller packrafts from other manufacturers that may be more suitable.
The dimensions above are given on the basis that the paddler should be able to fully stretch their legs if necessary.
The large and wide tubes give the pack a high load-bearing capacity, which is particularly suitable for heavy and larger paddlers (or paddlers who carry a lot of luggage).
Hellion is fast in the water thanks to its parallel tubes and long, streamlined waterline. The removable fin (included in the purchase) makes the packing power even faster and significantly improves course stability.
The packraft comes with a seat and backrest that can easily be removed from the packraft to minimize weight or in case of repair. Of course, the canopy is also included in the purchase.
Equipment can be attached to Vikingraft Hellion through four strong attachment points both front and rear - a total of 8 pieces. In the stern we recommend that you attach an Anfibio Deckpack and in the bow you attach your slightly heavier backpack or bag, preferably with the help of rok straps elastic straps.
Carrying handles are available at the front, back and inside of the tube for easy transportation over land. The carrying handles can also be used as attachment points for carbines, for example.
Fin/skid
The packraft has an integrated fin. The fin improves the tracking stability of the packraft. If you are going to paddle over longer distances, where grounding is not a major risk, we highly recommend using the fin. If you know you will be paddling in shallow areas, we recommend you remove the fin to avoid damaging it.

Vikingraft's packrafts are equipped with extremely strong seams that are both sewn, welded and taped. The material is UV-resistant, abrasion-resistant and flexible at low temperatures.

The boat is perfect for my adventures. I love the boat
Used today on Åsnen for transport to islands that were to be inventoried. Surprisingly stable, feels very solid. Quick to assemble and inflate.
Loving it. Simple light and smooth on the water.

- no instruction manual included, no qr code, no explanation on the website either. Had to google until I understood the system with the inflating bag.
